Lee Scott, CEO of WalMart, admits that WalMart is “not green.” Fine – I suppose that’s a fact. But I hate the fact that he “said Wal-Mart is trying, but it also needs to grow at the same time. (emphasis added)” (link)
I mean, seriously. Is there any company that needs to grow less than WalMart?? At what point do priorities shift from constant profit growth (not profits, but profit growth), to sustainability?
