Knitting Knotes

Thought you all were due for a status report. I’m working on an adorable little item for new baby girl Meghan. Can’t wait to share it here, but it’ll have to wait. Also about to start a pinwheel blanket in Berrocco Comfort for baby boy F who’s due in May. I’m looking forward to attempting the technically difficult start to the blanket, f-bombs notwithstanding.

I’m also planning to whip up a little lace-brim hat for moi in Cascade Pima Tencel – a nice lightweight yarn. Pretty huh?

And drum roll please…….I finished C’s hoodie!! It was 5 months in the making, and my first seamed sweater. The pics with C in it are still on the camera (stay tuned), but here’s an almost-finished shot. You get the idea.

It’s a smidge small but definitely wearable. Plus he likes it, which is key.

I love Maine. I hate mosquitoes. I prefer the bottom half of a muffin to the top. Baseball yes. Boxing no. Oh, and I have 3 boys in middle school. This is my blog.
