The Boys invade Yellowstone.

The much-anticipated visit to Yellowstone National Park happened at the end of our trip. It was well worth the wait. We covered only about a quarter or a third of the loop road, entering through West and stopping at Old Faithful. But the kids were very impressed.

Tilted Trees:

We got stuck in a loooong buffalo jam and were eventually passed on the other side of the street by two slightly (& understandably) agitated buffalo. Here’s one:

We went to Firehole Falls and the Firehole Swimming Area, where my FIL and his sibs used to frolic as kids. The falls were a hit, and they probably coulda spent the rest of the day around the swimming hole. I was very tempted to take a dip. Look – a cave:
