The Bass Cottage Inn

Let’s just say – nice. choice.  The inn was just decadent. It was understated luxury, with original woods and stained glasses, and three fireplaces in the common areas. The breakfasts were always three courses, with choices like raspberry cream cheese coffee cake, fresh yogurts, blueberry waffles and fresh vegetable fritatta with goat cheese.

Our room was fabulous, with an outrageously comfortable king-sized sleigh bed (with the requisite million pillows), gas fireplace, whirlpool tub & harbor view.

Now we’re home. (sniff) Oh, onto the pictures…………..

About gumbygoogoo

I love Maine. I hate mosquitoes. I prefer the bottom half of a muffin to the top. Baseball yes. Boxing no. Oh, and I have 3 boys in middle school. This is my blog.
