A Holiday Evening in Portland

We snagged a Friday evening before Christmas for a horsedrawn wagon ride through downtown Portland.  But before we could hop on board, we had to pick up Daddy at work,

and look at some of the very cool Christmas lights by Monument Square,

and hang out by the city’s Christmas (or possibly Holiday) Tree.

Then we hit the road in a wagon filled with Brownies practicing their alternatively-worded carols. The boys loved it.

After some pizza down on Commercial Street, we headed home with full bellies & holiday spirits.

I love Maine. I hate mosquitoes. I prefer the bottom half of a muffin to the top. Baseball yes. Boxing no. Oh, and I have 3 boys in middle school. This is my blog.
